Shot Types in Doc Martin

At the start of the clip there is a master shot which shows the view where the action is going to take place. Also in this shot each characters status is shown by them being at different heights in the shot which allows the viewer to know who the characters are talking to by there eyes either looking up or down in close ups. There is a Establishing shot of a small village further in the clip which shows the viewer where the scene is set. Lastly a close up is used to show Doc Martins reaction when he sees another character, this then applies to the viewer that there is some tension between these two characters.
